In 2011 at the Bikram Studio in Brickell. I was new to Miami and thought I would give it a try.
I remember thinking I was going to die right after Camel pose and that the class felt like it would never end. I didnt think I would come back.
Half Moon pose with Hands to Feet. Probably because it is the first real stretch of the series, but nothing feels better than coming up after Hands to Feet, especially first thing in the morning. Have you ever googled a Japanese ham sandwich?
I am from a small town in Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia. I moved to Miami in 2010 when I graduated college. I had never been to Miami before and got a job offer here and thought, why not?
Standing bow. I have a bad shoulder injury that has limited my range of motion. It has gotten much better with the practice but I can never open my shoulders enough as I want to for the posture.
It has made me happier, healthier, and just a better me all around!
I noticed a direct correlation between how often I was going to class and my overall happiness. I became more focused on myself and had a clearer mind. With the help two other fellow yogis the 30 day challenge turned into 40 plus days because I didnt want to stop!
Sabor a Peru right here in Midtown. My guilty pleasure is the papa a la huancaina. In the world.. Im not sure, but I just really love food.
All of my friends.. it is amazing to see no matter where life takes you there are a few special people who remain by your side no matter what.
